I am currently running Vista and use Windows Mail for all my emails, but I have an ongoing problem with Windows Mail.
In general, it works OK as long as I stay in the Inbox and don't move into any of my other folders such as Sent Items, Deleted Items. If I do go into my Sent Items folder and then go back into my Inbox, a few minutes later Windows Mail stops working and doesn't let me send or receive any more emails. Additionally, if I then go back into one of my other folders such as Sent Items, the emails in that folder have often disappeared.
I firstly tried simply closing Windows Mail and re-opening, but when doing this, all emails in all folders have disappeared.
The only way to clear it is to shut down my laptop completely and re-start. Once the laptop has re-booted and I open up Windows Mail, all the emails have re-appeared and I can send & receive again without problem - until the next time I go into Sent Items etc.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks
