Office Outlook - Saving one folder to multiple pst files

I have a folder titled Training that contains many subfolders that contain many emails each. Currently it is saved to Training.pst on my local hard drive. I have copied it to my network hard drive and changed the folder in outlook to point to Training.pst on the network hard drive.

I want this Training folder in outlook to point to Training.pst on the local hard drive and to the Training.pst on the network hard drive and update both files simultaneously so I constantly have a backup.

How do I do this?

Welcome to Vista Forums!

Vista itself cannot do this. You need 3rd party software. I have searched and have been unable to find freeware that will accomplish your objectives (I have found some that do some objectives like only the email files (and sometimes only certain folders in mail) but not contacts or anything else in the .pst file and I'm assuming you want the entire .pst file).

I have found some commercial alternatives to consider. I have never used any of these products, so the risk and the decision is entirely yours. I present them as merely some options I located. I am not recommending any of them (which is not the same as saying you shouldn't try them - just that I have no experience with them and thus no basis to consider any or all of them worthy products). You may search yourself for others if you wish. Some come with free trials and in those cases, the financial risk is minimized - but I know little more than you will read yourself on the websites about the products and whether or not they will work properly and/or as advertised.
