I want to re-install Vista, only thing is it's an OEM Version of the OS. Is it possible to re-install an OEM Version of the OS, and how do i go about re-installing it if it's possible.
Yes, you sure can if you have a OEM recovery partition on your hard drive, or a OEM Vista recovery disc to reinstall Vista back to the factory defaults with. Be sure to backup anything you do not want to lose, and have your product key number handy. It should be on the bottom of a laptop, or on the back of the computer.
If you have a disc, then you can just boot from it to do a clean reinstall of Vista.
If you have a recovery partitoin, then you will need to press some key (should say on screen or in documents) every second during boot to enter the OEM recovery manager to select the restore factory default option. If you post back what OEM brand your computer is, we may be able to find the instructions for you at the OEM's website.
