I am trying to make some changes in the odbc system but I keep getting this error. Here is a link to a snap shot.

Can't find the place to make a change I am logged on as an administrator.

Yes I am logged in as administrator but apparently the Microsoft access drivers are not loaded. Can't figure out how to load them.

administrative tools - Data Sources (ODBC). You can create the DSNs for each database.

That is were I went but it says that I need to load the drivers for ms access

I use SQL 2000 and 2005 databases. I create the database in SQL and point the DSN to it. Do you have the access database created to point the DSN to ?

Yes but I can't point to it because it wont let me I need drivers maybe something isn't there I don't know

Are you creating the correct DSN for it. Does it need a user or system DSN. On SQL server, its system DSN. Are you choosing the correct data source type. For SQL 2000 and 2005, its SQL Server. Some databases are ODBC.

It only shows SQL and nothing else there should be an MS Access.

What is the database engine and services?

Are you running this database out of Access or SQL Server? When I connect the DSN, I choose the server name, database name, and SQL authenication to configure the SQL DSN.

I have tried that and that is what I have been telling you the access driver is not there I need to help with getting it there.
