NTVDM.exe error

Dear all,
I am trying to run a CD in windows vista but its not working showing NTVDM.exe error.what should be the problem.It can be run in XP and NT well.Thanx in advance.

Hi, shivesh, and welcome to the forums.

When you say you are trying to run a CD< are you trying to install an app from CD< run content directly off the CD, or what? It sounds like the application cannot run because it is too old....

The CD in new and is running fine in window NT.2000,XP and older version. Needs 16 bit processor.What will happen if I copy NTVDM.exe from the pc to vista.Please help.Thanx
