ntldr is missing

on my windows xp home computer. when i turn it on it says ntldr is missing.so i goggled it. it gave me these two codes. copy e:\i386\ntldr c:\ and copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\ so i tried these codes. it says these commands are not RECOGNIZE. so where do i go if these codes don't work.

You must put in the letter of YOUR cd drive.
Like mine is F.
Yours could be D.
Just check your My Computer folder it will
show you.
