"NTLDR is missing" after reboot

So this is what happened:
I heard about the Windows 7 RC so I went and downloaded that and created a new partition on my laptop so I could dual boot it.
After the partitioning and buring Windows 7 to a DVD was done, I went to go install the Windows 7 RC.
I procedded with installing it on the partition I created for it, and all went well until it got to the end of uncompressing the files on the disk. An error came up saying it could not continue, nothing has been changed, and I needed to restart my laptop.
I started up my laptop, and what do you know an error came up saying "NTLDR is missing."
I have tried things such as using the built in repair tool in the Windows 7 RC disk, which included using the startup repair, which did not work, using the command prompt which also did not help, etc, etc.
I don't know what I am doing wrong here, or if I need to completely reinstall Vista on my laptop or what.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, sorry about an grammar mistakes, I am having a hard time typing on the touch screen of my DSi...
