Hi all......
my parents, they have a MAJOR problem with the machine i got for them....
everything was running perfectly until i configured the router & got online, once i had activated windows things started really slowing down, i mean worse than the old XP rig i had just replaced....:eek::eek:
after checking the task manager i found that a process called ''NT kernel & system'' is using 80-85% of the CPU all the time, i rebooted it & updated windows, but its still there..
so i ran ''AVAST'' & ''SPYBOT'' both turned up clean..?? i tried everything possible to end this process but it WILL NOT stop!!
i checked my machine (at home) & the process is there but it uses 0 CPU power...its the one just above the ''system idle process''...
the OS on my mums machine is vista home premium x32, there must be a way i can kill it, if i can see it surly i can kill it..??
any ideas ladies & gents..??
