Nothing is working!

As of this moment, my computer technically works fine. The problem is that I cannot delete, move, copy, paste, or anything to any files whatsoever! First, I need to "confrim this operation," then I need "permission" to perform this action! Permission from who? The Pope? Satan? Why can't I delete anything?! I just downloaded 52 songs, now I cannot move them, delete them, or listen to them! Please assist me!!!

First lets make sure its not a virus Run a full and updated virus scan
Then, if you can, download Malwarebyes and make a full and updated scan
If these are negative, lets make sure its not really a permissions isssue. Use this Administrator, its the save for Vista and Seven
Built-in Administrator Account - Enable or Disable - Windows 7 Forums[2]=User Accounts
Finally if none of these work, we look for corruption

This might be caused by viruses and malware. There should be an updated antivirus program installed on the computer if you connect it with external resources like data travelers and internet. You should scan every data traveler device while connecting to the computer. Perform a full scan and check if the problem persists, else you will have to re boot the system.

Me and my parents agreed (because it's the computer we share) that we're just going to reset to factory settings, then hopefully install a good ant-virus software! Nothing is working to fix it, even though I installed good virus software, "SUPERAntiSpyware." Ce la vie! Thanks anyway guys! I appreciate the help!!!

That is not good as an anti virus. Download the free Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes.

Malwarebites did not help. We are going to factory reset it I believe pretty soon. Then hopefully we will buy a good anti-virus like Norton, which we've used successfully for many years or something else! Thanks though for all your help!

This whole permission thing reminds me of eerie situation I encountered with Admin/User privileges, my guess is that the songs were locked and only the Administrator of the computer has the power to manipulate the files.
