no sound HELP

I had sound today and then my computer shut down unexpectedly. Now I have no sound. I don't know if it's a coinscidence. I have checked and it says all my audio is working. I have checked cords and everything is plugged in. I checked drivers and everything is current. I did a system restore and still nothing.
I checked the Realtek Audio Manager and everything seems to be working fine.
PLEASE HELP

Hello, Welcome!

Go to Control Panel>Sound. Right-click on Speakers (or whatever device you use), and select make default device.

Otherwise, your sound card might be going...
