So today I FINALLY got a new graphics card (Check my specs for details), but after installation I no longer get sound from my speakers! They are fully functional and properly plugged in/updated. This is a software issue from installing my new graphics card. Any help?
BTW: I have already changed the BIOS from AUTO to ENABLED.
Assuming that the card is good, it may be driver problem.
Go to search type device manager
Look for any yellow warning markers.
If none are found
Go to the webiste of the card mfg and download the most current drivers
Make sure sound is turned on in bios
You will have to enter the bios on startup and in the bios menu it is usually listed under onboard devices or something similar. Look around for onboard audio and move the hightlighted bar over it and hit enter. You should be presented with an option to enable or disable.
make sure you save changes before you exit the bios ( F10 ) then boot as normal
