No signal.

Hey there boys and gals. Got an issue on my grandmas pc can't seem to solve. I'm getting a no signal message on the monitor when I power on the system. I've tried a different video cable, monitor, and even a new motherboard but I still get the same issue no matter what. The system is a HP Pavilion a6110n. Tried posting on their site but all they want you to do is take it in to have it serviced. Any ideas?

does it say 'No Signal' for a second then you see the GUI boot? (the bar at the bottom of the screen when you boot your computer)

No it just says no signal then monitor goes black. It's as soon as I power on the pc.

only thing left to try is swopping out the video card for a known working one.

you say that you swapped the mobo AND the gpu and still, nothing worked? please double check that.

you might have to enable or just use intergrated gpu instead of using your discrete, and with your intergrated, install dirvers to the discrete, and THEN put in the new GPU.
