No Scanner Wizard on vista - help!

Hi loved the xp scanner and camer wizard and i cant get my head around the new vista photo gallery & automatic scanner. all i want to be able to do is once i scan in a photo, is resize it to fit te page, but i cant seem to do this with vista - can anyone help me please? the xp scanner had a preview button which you could then just click to fit the screen - this is driving me mad!

What format are you saving the scanned document into?

erm - a jpeg image - its not giving meany options - i have just pressed same buttons on my scanner as i did before (as you can tell, not exactly technologically minded!)

thanks, but not having a problem importing or actually scanning, but the fact that it does not allow any changes to be made etc!

Okay. Download paint.net. You can scan images and them manipulate them. It's free, great software, and will run 64-bit if you have it. Otherwise 32-bit sw.
