I'm visiting my mom and was using her computer. When I finished what I was doing I noticed there were updates available. I downloaded them and restarted the computer. I got a screen that said the update did't work and it was reverting to the previous setting. It was stuck on this screen. I can't start the computer in safe mode. I booted from the disc to do a system restore. But no restore points have been created. I don't know what to do. Did I just lose all the stuff on her computer?
