I'm running 30 Vista Business x32 machines in a multimedia academy program at a local high school, and we have the same problem that so many others have regarding internet connectivity and sleep mode. Upon resuming from sleep, the computer cannot connect to the internet, and has to be restarted. However, this issue only appears AFTER installing Symantec Endpoint Protection. I have tried disabling Symantec, but the problem still occurs, which leads me to believe that the program may have modified Vista's network access manager. The fact that our students have to restart their computers every time they need to connect to the internet after sleep mode has been activated is a serious hinderance, so I'm wondering whether anyone knows more about this issue than I do, and hopefully someone has a fix for it.
Thanks in advance,
Jon
