No Audio Output Device Installed [Other Threads Did Not Help]

Okay I have an HP 9925nr Laptop brand new. I got it a few months back. Yesterday I got home and I was editing some dance videos with Sony Vegas. When I was finished, I shut down my laptop and it started to install updates. I let it stay overnight installing updates since it would shut down after installing. When I woke up today I started up my laptop and it said it was uninstalling a service pack. I let it do whatever it was doing. When it finished uninstalling the service pack it installed more updates. When it was all done installing and uninstalling stuff I turned it on again and an icon pops up that says HP One Touch device has stopped working or something like that. The HP One Touch device is what helps me lower or maximize my volume, its located right above the keys and is a touch sensitive pad where I just slide or tap my finger on to lower or maximize my volume. On the bottom right hand corner of the screen near the clock, there is the speaker symbol with a red X on it. It says No Audio Output Device is installed. I'm running a Windows Vista. Please help me. I'm 15 and not really good with computers.

Here's a link to my computer model.

HP - Pavilion Laptop with AMD Turion™ X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor TL-60 - dv9925nr

I purchased it at Best Buy.

Thanks again and please help me. I looked at the other possible solutions on other forums and looked on these forums but they didn't help me.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEAS HELP ME!!!
