Hi-
I just purchased a vista's laptop for work. I currently use an XP desktop. I installed Office 2007 on the laptop, set up OUtlook and BAM al 1200 work e-mails appeared on my laptop (yeahh). When I logged to my work computer (the desktop) all my e-mails in outlook were GONE... yikes. I only purchase a starter laptop for travel and can't keep all the e-mails on there.. does anyone know how I can get all the e-mail back into my outlook on my desk top?

I have the following set up...I work remotely from home so i access the server through IMAP/SMTP for outlook. I have my desktop connected to the DSL which is connected to a wireless router for my new laptop

please please please tell me there's a way to get all my e-mail back on my desktop outlook :)

Thanks for the help

Of course there is. Im doing this from meory right now (im on a mac so I cant check) but doesn't outlook have an export emails, and rules function? If nothing else im sure its stored in a file (or database) that you could make a copy of and pour back into the desktop. the biggest problem is what machine is going to have the master list of contacts, the desktop? If so when you delete a contact on the laptop it will not be deleted on the desktop. The only way I can think is to have only one file and access the file from which ever computer. almost like an email server.

Hope this helps and im sure someone sitting at outlook will tell you exactly how to do it

Good luck
