New 7 not Vista install, system comes back password protected, any ideas?

Hello all,i got issues :D, i did fresh reinstall of Windows 7 and it came back password protected, im the only user, but i was told theres a set of jumper pins that when removed resets password, now that did work on an old Gateway i had 10 yrs ago, but im lost now. i hit F2 at loadup, went in reactivated pass and deactivated and saved, still has lock on it * also i just read below comments section.....ok heres what happened, got hacked yesterday, ruined my desktop, barely saved laptop, but i installed new AntiVir software Suite and im atm on a HP 2000 laptop with windows 8, wonder if theres a conflict running this software vs 2 different OS's hmmmmmmmmm........ ok bak again gives me option at startup to pick OS> hit F8 key> 1st option is to *reapair your computer* any thoughts????

just spent 10.00 on password recovery software listed on forum page only to see no BIOS found, however i did put the new software on ministick and hit F2 during boot> goes to F10 and i get this: < Edit Windows boot options for Windows 7>

Your header states Vista and this is the Vista forum but your text tells us you are dealing with Windows 7 (SP1 I hope), that forum is here: Windows 7 Help Forums

From what you say, the BIOS is password protected? There may be a way to restore the BIOS to factory by removing the CMOS battery for a minute or two. What exactly is it saying?

However if you've obtained the installation media from dubious sources it's quite possible that you've installed more than you bargained for as no operating system comes password protected right out of the box.

I'm not saying you did obtain it from a dubious source but just pointing that out.

When you reinstall are you completely wiping the drive, i.e. formatting and doing a fresh install? The malware whatever it was should be gone in that case, but if the machine has something in the BIOS, which is rare, then you should be asking on a Malware Removal forum perhaps, such as BleepingComputer or Malwarebytes for instance.
