New Monitor

I'm looking at maybe buying a new monitor and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I thinking of a 22" one and my budget is around £200 if possible. I've heard good things about the Samsung Syncmaster 226BW and the Hanns-G HW223DP. What do you guys think? Also I've noticed quite a few people have Dell monitors. Are these particularly good or good value? Finally do you think its worth taking the plunge and paying a bit more for a HD monitor or not bother?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I have an HP w2207 that I am quite happy with. Better than the Dell's that I've seen.

I have the 22" Samsung SyncMaster 220wm (which I believe is Best Buy's exclusive version of the 2200wm) that I got during Black Friday last year. Couldn't be happier with it. Crisp image, no ghosting, no dead pixels, minimal light bleed, and great contrast. Handles anything and everything.
