network problem

for may laptop when i connect to internet . after that i connect to PPTP server
. The PPTP connection is not appear to the screen .

(this is got problem)

but i use my desktop connect is ok .

(this is correct one)

may i know any setting in my laptop is disabled show cannot be show in screen
