Hi there, Im currently managing an internet café. We are having problem with the games we are installing because its always in conflict with the antivirus programs that we’ve tried. So we disabled our antivirus and to compensate for that we installed Deep Freeze Utilities. Are we safe or not?

Yes, and no.

Looking at the Deep Freeze info webpage, it can be set to prevent ANY changes to you system, or just a system partition.

If no changes can be made, then you may find it difficult to install the game you want to add without disabling it, and when you disable it, you are potentially wide-open to virus attacks.

It may be better to use Deep Freeze as one of several security measures. I really don't think you should sacrifice your antivirus software. If your current antivirus software is conflicting with this game, then install an antivirus that doesn't conflict.

If all your computers are the same spec, I would also suggest creating a Ghost image. Set up one machine exactly how you want it, and then create a ghost image of it's entire system. You can then use that ghost image to reset any of your machines to a 'default' setting if anything does go wrong.
