Ok i'l make it short and simple.

How do you turn off mobsync it makes my pc lose smoth performance. And tryed offline files and it still comes on.

Wireless.
As in XP you had wireless zero config and turned it off and make my games not lag. But in vista it shuts down your internet when you shut it off. I want to stop the lag spikes while i play games.

And yes i know wireless isent for gaming but we have a dosen pc's here and dont have a finance to have cords all over the place it's a 2 story home with 8 pc's and 4 laptops so i just want a way to stop the wireless from resetting every 60 seconds. Make it every 6 hours if i can.

Thanks for replaying.

Hi Elite Knight,

the problem that you have is caused by differences between XP and Vista in the handling of Wireless connections

Did find this on another site ...
To disable the WLAN Autoconfig you can follow these steps:

- Click on Start, type in "cmd" without the quotes, then right-click on cmd.exe which appears in your search.

- Select run as administrator.

- The WLAN service must be running first. If it isn't type net start wlansvc.

- Type in netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="name of your wireless network here" (with the quotes)

- If you need to see the name of your wireless network first, type in netsh wlan show settings

That will disable the WLAN Autoconfig

Please be aware I have not tried this so make sure you know the original settings before you change things

Original post ...

Lag every 60 Seconds Exactly - Wireless - Networking

Hi, to have the "run as admin" option when you enter CMD into the search bar the CMD.exe file will appear in the list above the bar - Right click on theis entry and select the run as admin option or if the CMD.EXE entry is the only entry in the list press CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER

The cmd box will appear with the word Administrator in the title bar

Note - You have to be loggied in as an administrator to acess this functionality

hope this helps ...

Edit
check the details in the "netsh wlan show settings" and make sure you enter the name exactly.
