Need help with audio/sound device

My device manager list the sound card IDT High Definition Audio CODEC but the speaker icon says there is "No audio output device installed". When I open the Sound Application, it slows down the computer until it does Not Responding and freeze my computer.

I ran the system file checker and it tells me that there are corrupt files that it was unable to fix in the CBS.log. What do I need to do? I try to open that log but it tells me that access is denied.

If you can't on normal mode, try to boot your computer on safe mode and run the scan from malware bytes.. I presume its a virus issue..

the cbs.log is telling me some print monitor is not found. I don't see how that is related to my "sound" is installed
