Need help immediately. Urgent!

Alright, as of yesterday, I've been having a problem with 2 players I encountered in one of the games available through Steam.

Everytime I joined this server that I frequent (which these 2 players also frequent), something weird happens.

My ping to the game slowly rises. Normally, I have around 56-58 ping. It rises at a medium speed and around the time it hits about 488, my internet connection crashes, causing me to have to restart my router.

I've been chatting with a friend who told me to close all open ports, so I went to my routers page (192.168.2.1), removed all Virtual Server port openings (for XBOX 360, World of Warcraft), then removed a few port exceptions from Windows Firewall. I ran a TruStealth test at grc.com, and it said ports 1 - 1056 were Stealthed.

Yet everytime I connect to the server whenever these guys are on, my net crashes.

Some people on the server have been saying that these guys are "DDOSing" them. I've also read some things about spamming people IP addresses with ICMP ping/echo requests.

This is where I need help. I need to know how to completely 100% prevent these 2 idiots from crashing my internet. If you need to see my Inbound/Outbound rules from my Windows Firewall (with advanced security), I can screencap the lists and post them.

Help me!
