it comes up wiv the acer screen as it should then comes up wiv lots of writing inc media test failure then a screen comes up wiv windosw error recovery at the top, underneath it says windows failed to start. a recent h/ware or s/ware change might be the cause then says try launch startup repair or start windows normally iv tried both but neither work it goes to the loading screen an stays ther

Have you tried pressing <Alt+F10> at boot up, to goto the Acer eRecovery Management.

acer recovery just puts it to the loading screen then dissapears again and that link is for using a disc to restore from wat i can work out im sure it never came with one tho

If you can't boot into windows then the only option is booting form a disk to repair windows

Have you installed any new hardware or software and is the error your getting got a blue backround if so its windows crashing depending if you can give me more detail i might be able to help
