Moving from Vista 32 to 64 and RAID

Hello,
I have a Core 2 Duo with 7 HDD. The O/S is on 1 and the other 6 are configured RAID1 in three pairs of two. I would like to install Vista 64 on this PC however am concerned about loosing access to the RAID drives.

How do I go about upgrading? I will be utilising a Vista Ultimate 64 upgrade.

The RAID is provided by Intel Matrix Storage onboard a Gigabyte 965P-DS3P motherboard.

You'll find some of the info about upgrading to here - Installation choices for 64-bit consumer versions of Windows Vista

Basically, you'll need to make sure you have drivers for your RAID card handy just as you did for 32bit, except that they'll need to be 64bit drivers, as well as 64bit drivers for all your other hardware. I recommend grabbing those before hand and storing them on one of the RAID arrays.

SCSIRaidGURU should be able to provide a lot more info for you on this.
