i saw some postings here, about ppl having problems with their cordless mice, that are jumping to the top of the screen, and i too was going nuts with this problem. i thought it was my mouse, so i went out and bought another one, with the same problem.....but it all stopped one day when i threw out my mouse pad and just used a normal NON reflective surface, yes some of the mouse pads have a nice glossy finish that are screwing up the way the optics on your mouse "see". i havent had a problem sincie i got rid of the glossy pad.
