I noticed this tool:

mkv2m2ts Pro - Video software and downloads - VideoHelp.com

Looks like it may be useful but I'm reluctant to put .NET 4.0 on just for one software. Esp. since 4 is new it may be buggy or otherwise a pita.

Has anyone tried this mkv2m2ts tool? Or anything new with .NET 4.0 runtime install or whatever it puts on?

Right now I'm using Popcorn audio converter to go from DTS to AC3 and then just tsMuxer to output .m2ts. The screen shot to this thing looks like it has some nice options. But I'm leery of being a .NET 4.0 guinea pig.

Also I click the link to go to author's site and it hangs.

Sweet that looks like a tool for converting MKV's back to blu-ray format M2TS.... that will be handy
I dont think ill talk too much on this tho as its intentions of use is frowned upon on these forums and rightly so

I dont think you have anything to worry about TBH even with NET 4.0, it look like this is needed because mkv2m2ts Pro was built in Visual studio 2010

VS 2010 is the only thing that does anything with .NET 4.0 that I know of at this point. I'm just asking if anyone has anything .NET 4 installed and running because I don't want to be the guinea pig. I don't even remember how many versions of .NET I have on this PC. I don't want to install a new sandbox every time a program comes out.
