Migrate cookies from XP to Vista?

How do I migrate all my cookie files in XP to my Vista system? I tried copying over all the cookie files in XP to Vista, but they don't seem to take effect. I have tonnes of site specific stuff saved in my cookies on XP, and want to use these cookies on my Vista system.

Are we talking Firefox or IE?

Sorry... IE7

Does the index file need to be copied over as well? I don't think I copied it.. just the cookie files. I just assumed the index file would be rebuilt when IE7/Vista accessed it. As far as I could tell, all the cookie file names started the same.. ie, [email protected] on my Xp system as in Vista. Maybe the cookies can't be just copied over.. maybe there needs to be some conversion program to integrate them into Vista?

Oh, and what is the LOW folder for? Do the cookies belong there or in the cookies folder? There seemed to be some cookies in both folders in Vista before I copied over the XP cookies.
