Does anyone know of a reasonable PCI Midi card compatible with Vista 64 ? I need something to plug a Midi Keyboard and a Guitar FX processor (Midi) into. I've used the older SB Platinum i/o drive before which was useful.

Does it need to be a PCI Card?
Why don't you look for an USB Midi box or cable?
This is cheaper, easier to use and expandable how you want for every needs.
Roland has a wide range of USB Midi products avaible
Roland U.S. - UM-1EX: USB MIDI Interface
There are drivers for Windows Vista 64 Bit.
You should know that since Steinberg started to reprogram all their professional software (Cubase,Nuendo,etc...) for Vista 64Bit support alot manufacturers are following this market...and so does Roland Music inc.
If you just want to buy a midi keyboard, try to find a USB Midi keyboard.
alot different avaible from M-Audio, Novation,etc..
All the Novations are for sure working on Vista 64bit (I use it everyday)

I am in the same boat. I have Vista Home 64 and want a PCI or PCMCIA midi card. I don't want to use USB because of the latency. I hope to work with soft synths again and desire as close to zero latency as possible within a reasonable budget. I used to work with a EMU 1616 PCMCIA midi interface and loved it; but unfortunately EMU doesn't seem to support Vista.
