Hello,
I am running Office Home and Student 2007 and have just run a diagnostic which suggests that my installation is not up to date and that I go to the Microsoft Update site and download any available updates.
When I do, I am asked to sign on with 'Microsoft Update'. The idea is, I think, to combine this Microsoft Update with my Windows Update and let Office updates come though along with updates for Vista, IE, etc.
I have posted here before with issues concerning updates including a fiasco I had last November which involved Office updates and am wondering, since Office seems to be working well at the moment (I was bored so I did a diagnostic ) should I bother with this or just leave it?
Does Office have security issues like IE and Vista?
Just wondering..
Thanks

your office updates should appear in control panel>security>windows update>view available updates below windows updates & windows defender definition updates
Hi fieseler,
I found that, thanks.. I had to update windows update to get MS updates as well as those for Windows.. if that makes any sense..
Since I've only been getting those Windows and IE updates, it seems I am waaay behind on my Office updates...I have 20 believe it or not, and I have listed them below.
I plan to install a few at a time, in case there are any stinkers among them.
Any idea in which order I should try?
Thanks
Peppurr
PS.. can anyone tell me how to make these slightly bigger and easier to read?
Thx

Hi fieseler
I just did SP1 and rechecked for updates.. the 2007 ones went away. I guess they were included in the service pack.
I will take your advice and do the security ones next.
I'll let you know how I make out.
Thank you for your advice..
