I seem to get my microphone working in vista but once i close down everything to do with the audio properties it keeps going on mute. Is there anyway to stop it from doing this.

Nope i don't use skype.
That is once i have turned it off mute.
After i close down everything to do with the sound properties it goes back like this.
Then this is what i get again.
How do i apply all of my settings in the Sound Properties.. i hate having to keep going back or leaving the sound properties up to record.
