Hi everyone, I have a issue with my system memory was hoping someone could help. I recently upgraded from 2.00 GB ram to 4.00 GB but the operating system does not seem to be utililizing it correctly.
System Information shows this:
Installed Physical Memory (ram) 4.00 GB
Total Physical Memory 2.00 GB
Available Physical Memory 1.16 GB
At boot up my Bios is showing 3.5 GB Memory
Run/dxdiag shows memory @ 2046
Windows Experience Index shows 4.00 GB
Here are my system specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 FX-60
MB: Asus A8V Bios ver. 0229 (latest)
Memory: 4 Corsair DDR CMX1024-3200 Dual Data (2 matched sets of 2.00 GB)
OP System: Vista Ultimate SP1 64-bit
I have tried just about everything less a re-install of Vista, would this help?
Any help in this matter would be really appreciated.
Thanks In Advance
