Solved Marking thread as Solved

I was not aware that I could notify moderators that my thread or the thread I subscribed had been resolved until yesterday.
Today, I notified the mod that one of my thread was resolved.
Then I wen to the next one, and tried to do the same. But, I was told that I had to wait for 40 minutes.
It seems strange. Someone please enlightens me the rationale behind this restriction ?
Thank you.

Thank you, although it still makes little sense to me.
I have no problem with that.
Only reason why I bother to have them marked " resolved " is for the benefits of users searching for answers.
Matter closed.

Basically it is designed to stop the server of the forum from crashing and to help keep the load of the Moderators that have to solve the threads Waiting is the only solution ;)

That shouldn't be normal behavoir, you should be able to report as many threads as solved as you want without restriction.

When you get that message again, grab a screen shot and post it here so I can have a look.

BTW I'm moving this to chillout.

How very odd, there isn't even a setting for that

I'll look into it today and see what I can do ;)

Edit - It seems to be controlled by a completely unrelated setting, I have changed it now and you shouldn't see that again.
