Malware Problems?

Ok, so my computer says my Malware Protection is OFF.. It wont let me turn it back on. I have tried to delete the Avast program.. and it wont let me. I try to install either updates or a new anti- virus.. and it says something about a side by side.. something or another..
I some what know computers.. but, Im not Great at it.. I am stuck.. and I have this side by side thing going..
More info.. I don't know if its important or not.. but, I had this spyware thing pop up a short time ago.. My mother (who is better at the protectiong stuff then me) suggest I use: Sammsoft Advance Reg. opt.. Did that take the place of the anti virus.. or .. ??? I don't know.. Please Help??

Please download RKill by Grinler from one of the 4 links below and save it to your desktop.

  • Before we begin, you should disable your anti-malware softwares you have installed so they do not interfere RKill running as some anti-malware softwares detect RKill as malicious. Please refer to this page if you are not sure how.
  • Double-click on Rkill on your desktop to run it. (If you are using Windows Vista, please right-click on it and select Run As Administrator)
  • A black screen will appear and then disappear. Please do not worry, that is normal. This means that the tool has been successfully executed.
  • If nothing happens or if the tool does not run, please let me know in your next reply

Next, download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. Copy and Paste that log into your next reply.
