mail mess up

You did not give much information; did the problem just start or is this a new account? In any event, only the pay service of Yahoo allows pop3 mail, which is what you have.

i tried to get on craigslist 2 years ago. it sent me to windows mail and asked what my pop was i typed in don't know. since the if i try to use windows mail this message comes up when i try to send an email. how do i erase thi message ?

It sounds like you have windows mail and filled the specs incorrectly.

Go to search, by the start button, type windows mail, then click when the name comes up.

If windows mail does come up and you never use it, we can unintall it.

So lets make sure that you have it, first. If you do, post and I will tell you how to uninstall.

If it is used, we can fill it out correctly.

This will work, if these are the most current settings. If they do not work, call verizon and ask them for the most current port number, settings for incomming and out going.
