Lost Vista reinstallation disc, now what?

I've lost my Windows vista reinstallation disc and my laptop loads only up to 'Windows system restore' and is stuck on a continous loop off restarting no matter what option I choose, 'Safe mode' etc. I've ran all the system and memory tests and they all come back clear and when I press F8 the options doesn't include 'Repair your computer' I've spoken to dell and they said it'll cost £150 to get a new disc, is there any other way I can make my computer work? I currently have access to another vista computer for a few hours, is there anything I can save to a disc from this laptop to make it work? I need it working today, it's been like this for two weeks. The blue screen of death showed up three times that day and after the last 'restart' it simply wouldn't work.

Hi Natasha, Welcome to the forums,

you may want to follow the instructions in this tutorial to create a repair disk, when you have the disk have a look at this tutorial

Thanks very much but I have to refrain from downloading programs onto this computer (utorrent) .. Could anyone send me the the 32 bit one ready to be put onto a disc?
Edit:/ I've only got an hour left before I am left without a computer and I've attempted to download the torrent but it has been 10 minutes and it hasn't even started to download, Any help?? It's really urgent I get it fixed today, I have to much coursework for tomorrow and I desperatly require my computer.

the other option you have is to borrow a vista install dvd from someone and use that to perform the repair, does the person who's laptop you're using have such a disk?

otherwise the only option is the torrent file and burning the ISO

one thing to save you some money you only need the retail upgrade disk to do what you want no need to get the full install
