I seem to lost sound on my HDMI output. I accidentally clicked cancel on the sounds when I right clicked the volume icon and went to Playback Devices. Is there a way to get it back and to enable it again. Sorry, im new to this.

My first post is very confusing, let me tell you what I did. I went to

Start
Control Panel
Hardware and Sound (double click)

When I got here all I could see were Independent Dual Headphones and SPDIF.

Before this I had accidentally clicked cancel on the HDMI and it's gone. Is there a way to get it back?

I'm not totally sure of your problem from the description but assume that you used to have 3 entries under Device Manager>Sound, video and game controllers (One of which was HDMI?)

Have you tried under the Action menu, selecting Scan for Hardware Changes?

If this doesn't work, please can you enter your system specs.
