Hi all,
I have a very very odd issue that I am working on right now. Basically I loaded Vista Business x64bit on a Lenovo T400 laptop machine and have also tried Lenovo T60. Before Joining the machines to our Domain, I loaded all the drivers, windowsupdate etc.. everything would work like normal.
When I do join the machines to the domain, both the network adapters Local and wireless stops working. They would keep looking for connections, but does not actually connect to a connection. What I did notice in the Event log is that the DHCP client in service is not starting. So I went into services and try to start DHCP Client, but wont start, no errors.
I'm at a lost now, looking through my GPO policies or compare policies, but haven't found anything yet. Forgot to mention what would work is if I force dns in the TCP/IP properties. I seem to be able to connect that way, but is not the sufficient way to connect.
Thanks all
