Solved Loss of restore points

Hi,
I am loosing restore points and my tick to view more than 5 days box disappeared. Could someone please tell me how to resolve this.

Hello Brummy,

Do you dual boot with XP?

You may need to increase the max disk storage size to allow for more restore points to be stored. Plus, I believe a restore point will only stay on your system for up to 90 days before automatically being removed as well.

Hi Shawn,
I don't dual boot with XP, I have Max.shadowcopy storage is set at 7.7GB. Previously when that was set at 3GB I used to have more restore points and I did have that little box to tick for restore points more than 5 days.
I must tell you that I have done a Factory state restore a week ago(4/5/09). I think I'll let the system settle down a bit longer and see what happens.

Ah yes, a factory restore would indeed wipe them out as well. I'm glad that you found the culprit.
