Solved Loss of restore points
Hi,
I am loosing restore points and my tick to view more than 5 days box disappeared. Could someone please tell me how to resolve this.

Hello Brummy,
Do you dual boot with
XP ?
You may need to increase the
max disk storage size to allow for more restore points to be stored. Plus, I believe a restore point will only stay on your system for up to 90 days before automatically being removed as well.

Hi Shawn,
I don't dual boot with XP, I have Max.shadowcopy storage is set at 7.7GB. Previously when that was set at 3GB I used to have more restore points and I did have that little box to tick for restore points more than 5 days.
I must tell you that I have done a Factory state restore a week ago(4/5/09). I think I'll let the system settle down a bit longer and see what happens.

Ah yes, a factory restore would indeed wipe them out as well. I'm glad that you found the culprit.
