first time on a forum actually on any type of forum. so thank you Windows Vista Forums....
so ok this is the situation right now with my laptop. my laptop is not allowing me to upload programs such as the Norton Security Antivirus Software and certain other programs. my laptop is about four to five years old, its a Hewlett-Packard, model Compaq Presario CQ60 Notebook PC with a memory (RAM) of 2.00 GB, system type: 32-bit Operating System.
about four week ago certain programs stopped running such as the HP Care Ad, The Help and Support programs and The Internet Explorer. but i am able still go online using Google Chrome. but i can't log in to webinars or upload any new software.
so i'm looking for any type of advice where i should start first. i do not have any real experience with computers, but i do follow directions really well. so any type of advice would be greatly appreciated. even if you think i should cut my losses and check out The Geek Squad at Best Buy. any input would really be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
so THANK YOU, Windows Vista Forums and THANK YOU to anybody who's willing to reply with any type of input.
take it easy and take care everybody,
