For me, the issue is not the icons on my desktop, but rather the icons inside a folder ON the desktop. It’s full of powerpoint and .mp3 files from class. I have searched numerous threads on the subject and so far can only find software for locking desktop icons (i.e. after screen resolution changes). Anyone know of anything I can use for those files in the desktop folder (or a desktop icon-locking software with a feature for folders)?
As you can imagine, the folder fills up pretty quickly daily. Vista (64) likes to mess up my arrangement, which is infuriating. Solutions much appreciated!
