Locked Out!!!!

Hello,
I have a major problem. My children got a hold of my laptop which is Vista home basic and have created a password that NO ONE knows!!! I tried the f8 to restart but is says account is suspended! Can some please help me??

Hi. I'm sorry but we can't help you hack a password for several reasons: 1) although you likely are we don't know that you are the owner and you have no way to prove it to us. 2) someone else could find the information later and use it maliciously.

I suggest that you take the laptop with proof of ownership to your local computer repair shop.

I understand, I have called technical support, however they want to charge any where from 199.99 to 399.99 and I just don't have that extra cash. Thanks anyway!

Hello,
Don't pay extra money. What you are going to have to do is buy windows vista again.
This may sound crazy, but we cannot tell you how to hack a password.
Just go to ebay or amazon and search "Windows Vista 32-bit". Some of them are only $100.00,
others more expensive. I am sorry for this unfortunate action.

That's way too much. Is there no one else local? Also contrary to Setro2 you shouldn't have to buy Vista again if you want to do a reinstall but yes we can't help you for the reasons I explained.

I don't think the issue is whether we could potentially be helping a criminal who may stumble upon this thread - there's hundreds of tutorials out there already and one more thread really isn't going to have a massive effect. I'm going to make a judgement call and give the link to our tutorial:
