Solved Locked out.... Of my own network!

Hey there everyone,
I am the manager of my network at my house and i have set up my router with an encryption key i can remember. My mom just got a new laptop and we can not connect to it because i FORGOT THE KEY! :rolleyes: My computer is wired directly to the router. I went to my IP address and wouldnt you know it, i forgot the login info!
I can reset the router from the router itself, but it took me a while to set it up. Is there any way i can get around my login since i am directly connected?

Thanks for the quick response d3aths3rver. I downloaded it and ran it on my desktop and it didnt work because i wasnt wireless.
Luckly my mom didnt sell her old laptop yet and i was able to run it on that computer and it worked like a charm!!!

anytime mate, as i said it that application can be a godsend and im glad it helped. Also never throw out old laptops run a linux distro on them - will breathe new life into old laptops and you have another machine for quick internet browsing or a server - linux uses very little resources you will find and its open source so it is free. Look up linux distros - Fedora, Ubuntu, Red hat, debian, backtrack (if you get superb with back track you might be able to crack that router password - may take time to master, but a superb networking tool)
I Think these are the most popular (backtrack not so much) - but they all have many wonderful free apps that you might want to find and install on windows as well.
search for linux distros in google or wikipedia and it will come up with plenty of hits.
