local folders gone

I made a mistake in wanting to empty the spam folder, and do not understand how, but I have deleted all local folders ... is there any way to recover this?

Dont really know what you did, but hope there is a simple answer.
In the left panel where the folders were, you will see small arrows next to the folders that are still there. Just click on the arrow.

First of all thank you for your quick response.

well I'll explain ... press the right button mouse on my spam folder and choose, empty junk mail folder. when the program ended the task, all local folders I created are gone, and these folders were full of emails.

What I know is that the windows mail program makes an automatic backup, but I do not know how to restore that backup.

I think that if you just click on those little arrows your mail will be back.

Try going to your email website the mail may still be there
If not download shadow explorer. Follow directions and mail should be back
