On my systray I have "Links >>. Clicking on the >> shows an ie7 icon and says "suggested sites." It just showed up out of the blue. Clicking on it brings up my browser bring up a suggest site web page with this url: https://ieonline.microsoft.com/#ieslice. What is this all about? I don't think I want it in my systray, but if you give me a good reason to keep it, I will. And, just in case, how do I get rid of it?

If you would like to get rid of it, right click on your taskbar, go up to toolbars, and untick Links.

Hope this helps.

It's just a shortcut. It does the same as a desktop icon, it's just in the system tray. It's perfectly safe to get rid of, either by doing it the was that was suggesed, or by right clicking on it and deleting it. It just deletes the shortcut so it isn't on the tray anymore.
