legally create Vista "repair CD" without install CD?

Basically, a lot of the free partition managers get you to the point of "next time you boot you will get this error, just put in your Vista install CD and do a repair" yadda yadda. What about the millions that don't get a CD when they buy a PC? Got to be some way to fix the bootup stuff without restoring an entire image.

Most manufacturers have instructions on creating a bootable Vista rescue CD...most machine buyers ignore this until the system will not boot.
What boot issues are you having ? ?

Thanks guys. Downloading now. I could never get torrent to work so I avoided them. Latest Opera seems to be getting it though.

I made a 32 bit VistaPE before from WAIK and you can mess with files and stuff but it doesn't have to Auto Fix stuff(or at least it didn't back when I did it.)

I kind of miss the old built-in floppy disk just because there are still some boot disks out there and boot CD has the problem of not being able to write to the boot medium. Too bad they didn't fix it so it would hold like 100 MB or something. Nostalgia got me!! :)

Thanks for the reply. I'm fine. I just want to get prepared. I don't intend to mess with the partitions on this PC any time soon. But eventually it will become the secondary PC and I'll want to multiboot Vista64 and XP 32 bit if I can get the drivers for XP. Just looking ahead. But it doesn't hurt to have some disaster recovery tools lined up. :)
