Hi,

I'm having a friend over right now and he brought his laptop :)

We would like to play World in Conflict against eachother LAN.

We both have connection to the internet (so we are clearly connected to my router)

But when I make a server on the game, he can't see it, so there must be something missing?

Can someone please help me (We both use Windows Vista Home Premium)

It sounds like a firewall issue. If you have a software firewall active, you will need to make sure that the nessecary prots are open.

I checked and hamachi has permission to connect to the internet;

But it can't even ping the other computer - even though it has permission

The other computer might have a firewall on it preventing pings. Internet access and hosting are 2 different things. If you are hosting, your machine would need some ports open for the client machine to see. According to Sierra's support site:
-----------------------------------------

What are the ports for World in Conflict to play Online when using a firewall?

The following ports need to be opened when using a firewall device:

TCP 3004
UDP 48000-48100
