hey experts,
can anyone tell me how i can force vista to load the last working graphics driver no matter if a monitor is connected or not ?
same goes with the keyboard and the mouse drivers ....
it's a pain in the a** when i start one of my computers and the kvm switch is set to another machine.. i often do that cause the vista startup is quite boring to observe
new powered on computer boots (autologin) but when i switch to that machine all i get is a dark screen ....
the kvm works on dvi monitors / usb keyboard/ usb mouse port/ and two extra usb ports (all usb 2 compliant). The manual says that it emulates a standard vga monitor 1280x800, a Standard usb mouse and a standard usb keyboard .... so booting without being physically connected to the devices should be easy - well it is not - no problems in xp indeed ...
any ideas are welcomed
cheers - ahab666
