keyboard driver help!

hey,

i have a microsoft sidewinder x6 keyboard and i works fine but when i try to install the cd that came with it i get an error message (1603) and it says "setup could not install a required component" i have tried google search and downloading the latest driver but still nothing :/

if i dont install it i cant use the special features eg. macros.

so if you could please help that would be great thanks

Try to reinstall the drivers

and please check you are using 32 bit or 64 bit operating system

i cant install the drivers to begin with :\
and i am using 64-bit

Try installing as administrator, if this does not work, try installing when in safe mode.

Hey , Try downloading your latest driver for your keyboard then unplug your keyboard , then run driver as administrator.

Check this Microsoft KB article and see if it helps you

You receive an "error 1603: A fatal error occurred during installation" error message when you try to install a Windows Installer package
